CSR Partnership Policy

This CSR Partnership Policy provides a framework for collaboration between Dnyankartika Bahuddeshiya Sevabhavi Sanstha (hereafter “the Sanstha”) and corporate entities under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) provision of Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013. Our goal is to foster impactful, accountable, and scalable partnerships that align with both our mission and the CSR objectives of our corporate partners.

Organizational Overview

Dnyankartika Bahuddeshiya Sevabhavi Sanstha is a registered non-profit working across rural Maharashtra in the areas of:

  • Yoga & Preventive Health
  • Organic Farming
  • Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and Women Empowerment
  • Rural Education & School Digitization
  • Animal Welfare (Goseva)
  • Environmental Sustainability
  • Skill Development

We are registered under the Maharashtra Societies Registration Act and are fully compliant under:

  • Section 12A and 80G of the Income Tax Act
  • NGO Darpan (NITI Aayog)
  • CSR Form CSR-1 (if applicable)
  • Annual Audits and Financial Transparency Protocols

This policy aims to:

  • Define the roles, responsibilities, and expectations of both parties in a CSR partnership
  • Ensure that all CSR-funded projects are designed and implemented in accordance with the Companies Act, 2013 and Schedule VII guidelines
  • Promote transparency, impact assessment, and long-term value creation for rural communities

Dnyankartika Bahuddeshiya Sevabhavi Sanstha is:

  • Eligible to receive CSR funds from companies under Section 135
  • Compliant with all necessary statutory and financial registrations
  • Willing to provide documents including:
  1. CSR-1 Acknowledgement (if applicable)
  2. 12A & 80G certificates
  3. PAN card
  4. Audit reports and annual returns
  5. MoUs and progress reports as required

CSR partnerships may include support for:

  • Thematic programs (Yoga, Education, Farming, Health, etc.)
  • Capacity building or infrastructure support
  • Research, documentation, or community surveys
  • Employee engagement and volunteering
  • Technology or equipment donations
  • Recurring or one-time grant disbursements

Each CSR project will be:

  • Based on jointly identified needs aligned with Schedule VII of the Companies Act
  • Designed with clear goals, timelines, and measurable KPIs
  • Supported by a formal MoU or Agreement outlining the roles, deliverables, financials, and reporting mechanisms

The Sanstha shall:

  • Maintain dedicated teams for CSR project implementation
  • Provide visibility and co-branding where applicable
  • Submit utilization certificates and impact reports as per agreed formats and frequency

We ensure full transparency in CSR implementation through:

  • Baseline and endline assessments
  • Quarterly or biannual narrative reports
  • Financial Utilization Certificates (UCs)
  • Photographic, video, and case study documentation
  • Impact dashboards (for web/print) on request
  • Annual audit inclusion of CSR projects (where applicable)

All project-related data, funds received, expenditures, and partner communications will be documented and archived securely for a minimum of 8 years, as per CSR and audit requirements.

CSR partners are encouraged to:

  • Participate in field visits, evaluations, and community feedback sessions
  • Suggest changes or interventions mid-project based on evolving needs
  • Offer knowledge partnerships, technical guidance, or secondments

The Sanstha upholds:

  • Anti-corruption and zero-tolerance for misuse of funds
  • Community consent, safety, and inclusion in all activities
  • Full legal and financial compliance under Indian NGO norms
